"The communication with the hosts was great, the condo was clean and as described, and the view was beautiful. Although I am giving a 5 start review, it is for the condo and hosts only. I will never return to the resort. It was dirty, somewhat run down and very crowded. The beach situation was the most unpleasant of anything. The company that the resort has running the umbrella and chair rental sets up 5 (!!) rows of chairs and umbrellas and over 1/2 were not being used! We rented an umbrella and chairs before arrival, but unless you do so months in advance, you will be stuck many rows back with zero view of the ocean. You are not allowed to even have your own chair near the water. There are security guards roaming looking for people who might have done this. If you have your own umbrella or chairs, you must be behind all 5 rows of chairs and umbrellas. Resorts on both sides are the same, so there is nowhere to go. It ruined the trip since we love being on the beach near the water!"

"The condo was seriously wonderful! What the ladies show in the pictures is what you get. You have a nice view, And just steps away from the beach. The view and everything was amazing. You don’t even have to leave for anything. You can enjoy the beach, pool, and have a cafe to order food, If you don’t want to go out. Also they were helpful when I needed some clean linens. They are very on top of things. Thank you for opening your place up. We enjoyed our vacation here and would book with them again!"

"If this rental is an option for your stay, take it! Best for a couple or 4-6 family (2 hallway beds and a pullout sofa). You will, almost, not want to leave the Gulf view on the balcony! Depending on the time of year, you may not see the sunrise/sets from it, but the direct Gulf view is a beauty and her sounds are intoxicating!! When you do go out, everything you need is at your fingertips...pools, hot tubs, food, beverages (adult and not) are an elevator button away. One word of caution, and it's said many times by the host, but worth repeating...DO NOT leave unless you are positive you have the code....the checkin folks have no way to help. I had a hiccup (my fault!) and found out how important this is!"

"Our stay at Kristine’s condo was wonderful! Her home was calming, very nicely decorated, and super clean. Everything was well stocked including the kitchen! My daughter and I had a very comfortable stay with a gorgeous view of the ocean right from the comfort of our 6th floor balcony. It was a great place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast and even watch the moon rise in the evenings. To visit the beautiful emerald waters, we simply took a quick ride down the elevator and headed to the beach. The two pools on site were also really nice. Parking was also included and very convenient. We would definitely come visit again!"

"If you’re debating on whether to book, you will not be disappointed with this rental. It was exactly as described and was immaculate. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the starter supplies provided were more than what we needed during our stay. The hosts were so friendly and responsive, and it’s very clear they care about you having a great experience at their property. This was our first time in Destin, and the location was perfect. We loved having breakfast on the balcony in the morning and spotted several dolphins swimming, which my daughter absolutely loved. The beach is beautiful and clean, and we did rent umbrellas prior to our stay which I recommend. It’s a very short drive to the marina, shopping, and great dining. We also loved visiting the water park right across the street. I would not hesitate to book this property again in the future."

"Stayed here for a full week and honestly It was way more than I expected. We had no trouble getting in and out of the airbnb. Everything that we needed was 4-5 minutes away from us like Walmart, and great restaurants. We never really spent that much gas either because of the great location. Would totally book again!"

The view from the balcony is divine and the proximity to the beach, pools, & hot tubs were perfect! Restaurants and attractions away from the condo were quick and easy to get to. "First time to Destin! This condo and the views were spectacular! Newly updated bathrooms, well appointed kitchen that had everything we needed. The beds were comfy enough and all of us (parents and two teens) slept pretty darn good every night. Host was quick to respond to any needs. There was some construction noise from the buildings next door but not a deal breaker. We were able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas for the week (do this ahead of time) and order food and drinks right from the beach. It truly felt like a resort. One of the other things that was really nice was the fact that the beach is a smoke, vape, pot free beach. Some other beaches you go have cigarette butts all over the place and it’s not ideal for playing in the sand. None of that on this beach. Overall our stay was fantastic, beach was heavenly, condo was awesome!"

We couldn’t have asked for a better view, we sat on the balcony each night! The beach service was amazing, even had a waitress from the cafe come & serve us in our beach chairs! "Our stay in this condo was amazing! It was extremely clean and smelled really good. To the point where I asked our host what cleaning supplies they used. The floors were so clean I did something I’ve NEVER DONE! I actually walked around barefoot. I’ve never done that in a rental. Hats off to the cleaning team! I didn’t even see a spec of dust anywhere much less a grain of sand. It was clean! The kitchen has everything you need to fix a good meal. There’s even a garbage disposal. The fridge works great and it has a regular coffee pot so bring your filters and ground coffee for those nice mornings or evenings on that balcony. The balcony has a very comfortable bar height table and Adirondack chair set in a beautiful teal color. We enjoyed our time out there a lot! The view is gorgeous! We did see the dolphins a few times. That was a treat 🙂 There are two bathrooms and both were extremely clean. Trust me, I’m picky! The bunk beds looked comfy but we didn’t use them. There were only two of us but the bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and I slept better in it than I do at home. As a matter of fact, we are now shopping for a new mattress at home. The ac feels good on 75 and will freeze you on 70. It has really good ac and ventilation. The place is decorated well and I felt cozy and right at home. It was the perfect place to go back to after a long day of shopping and dinner or just a good hot shower after the beach. Your hosts, Christine and Kim are very responsive and Gracious hosts. If you need them they give you plenty of ways to contact them. They also send you everything you need to have a peaceful drama free check in and anxiety free stay. The parking garage on site is plenty tall enough to park a tall truck. We have a taller style F250 and there was more than enough room and plenty of parking. The cafe there has a really good and reasonably priced breakfast and the tiki bar makes some really good drinks. If your considering “A Shore Thing” click those buttons now before someone else does. I don’t think you’ll be sorry. I loved this condo! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would."

"My family and I had a wonderful time at Pelican Beach! The room had a beautiful Gulf view and we enjoyed watching the dolphins in the mornings. Condo was clean and had all the necessities we needed. The on site cafe was really good, especially the pizza. We enjoyed the drinks from the tiki bar as well. The communication with Kim and Kristine was great, as they responded to all our questions extremely quickly. We couldn’t ask for a better experience, thank you!"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is the perfect size for a family of 4 as we were all able to have our own space and bathrooms. The decor makes you feel like you’re at the beach. The resort itself has awesome amenities including a beautiful gulf side pool and a tiki bar with beach service. The location is perfect for the heart of Destin and close to The Track and Big Kahuna’s, which our kids loved. Kristine was super helpful in answering questions. We will definitely rebook with her!!"

"My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was in a great location and we loved the variety of pools and hot tubs available. The best feature about this condo location was the access to having a tiki bar waitress who would serve (both food and rinks) right at your beach chair! (Thank you to our host for suggesting we book these chairs early!) You can tell the condo is older; however, Kristine has done a lovely job with fixing it up like new. We would return again!"
