• "Shell of a View" is ideally located on Okaloosa Island offering a lower density beach vacation. There aren’t any high rises on OKI, so no more fighting for space or sitting in the 5th row! There are so many activities to enjoy, including:
• Okaloosa Island Beach: A pristine stretch of white sand and emerald green water offering parasailing, pontoon & jet-ski rentals, and a fishing pier!
• The Boardwalk with many shops and restaurants, beach volleyball, and a fishing pier + seasonal fireworks shows!
• Wild Willys Adventure Zone - Features go-karts, mini-golf, bumper rides, and more, catering to family fam!
• Destin – Just a short drive away you can spend the day enjoying the Harbor, Destin Commons, and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, golf, and spas!

HOUSE RULES
• Minimum Age: This property requires a minimum of one adult over the age of 25 stay at the property throughout the entire rental term. The primary guest is responsible for all additional guests.
• Pet Free Property - Per the signed Rental Agreement, any violation of the NO PET policy will result in immediate eviction, plus additional cleaning charges. Our building does not allow guest pets and Emotional Support Animals are not required to be allowed by law in vacation rentals.
• All reservations include a mandatory rental agreement to finalize your reservation that must be signed within 48 hours.
• CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4:00 PM CST and CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 AM CST.
• Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be in your arrival instructions at check in time.
• No smoking/vaping/drugs/firearms allowed in our condo or balcony
• Max number of guests includes guests of all ages including infants/children to comply with our vacation rental permit, HOA laws, and local fire code laws. Exceeding the guest count is grounds for immediate eviction with no refund.
• Parking for up to 2 cars in the open lot

"We loved the closeness to the pool and the beach. Such a short walk to the beach! First floor was great visibility of the ocean and it was never impeded by the dunes. The amenities were as listed and it was nice to have many tools to cook. There were a couple minor issues that were fixed within a few hours or replacement offered. Loved the location for our older parents. Easy to navigate the steps to pool and very short walk to beach. Also had 2 toddlers and it felt very safe with such close access to pool. The closeness to pool was SO convenient with littles, and very visible from balcony so other members of family could watch them play. The towels were good quality and comfortable beds! Thank you!"

"1st time to okaloosa island pleased with the location. The condo was first floor corner beside the pool and honestly 30steps to a beautiful beach, given the locale of the condo you may encounter noise from hot tub and pool area, after hours, which had we not had babies would have been fine but we do and it was at times excessive, there is noone to complain to and no sercurity on site so you will just have to deal. Was not the worst. Daytime noise is an Issue condo beside under repair @poolside, kitchen is stocked, childlocks would have been great. Beach service was great 2chairs/Umbrella already paid attendant on beach pool/hot tub is dirty in need of deep clean. Was a get away from hustle and bustle for sure. Parking free and easy Bring towels, trash bags and paper towels. Trash shoot is a pain in the booty worst part of trip. Bathroom sinks very slow drain small bath if at all, jet tub stopper does not work. Overall stay some issues Price was ok Would stay again probably."

Thanks, Waid! You did let me know about the noise you experienced one night from the pool, and I did let the HOA know. We are a small, low density building so we don't have people at the property 24x7. June and July are our busier months with people having fun on vacation - but they should have left the pool and kept noise down during off hours. When my kids were younger, I bought extra locks from Amazon that worked great for travel! If you didn't like the trash chute, you could have just placed your trash in the dumpster - most people prefer the convenience of a chute. Thanks!
