• "The Salty Sister" is ideally located on Okaloosa Island offering a lower density beach vacation. There aren’t any high rises on OKI, so no more fighting for space or sitting in the 5th row! There are so many activities to enjoy, including:
• Okaloosa Island Beach: A pristine stretch of white sand and emerald green water offering parasailing, pontoon & jet-ski rentals, and a fishing pier!
• The Boardwalk with many shops and restaurants, beach volleyball, and a fishing pier + seasonal fireworks shows!
• Wild Willys Adventure Zone - Features go-karts, mini-golf, bumper rides, and more, catering to family fam!
• Destin – Just a short drive away you can spend the day enjoying the Harbor, Destin Commons, and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, golf, and spas!
HOUSE RULES
• Minimum Age: This property requires a minimum of one adult over the age of 25 stay at the property throughout the entire rental term. The primary guest is responsible for all additional guests.
• Pet Free Property - Per the signed Rental Agreement, any violation of the NO PET policy will result in immediate eviction, plus additional cleaning charges. Our building does not allow guest pets and Emotional Support Animals are not required to be allowed by law in vacation rentals.
• All reservations include a mandatory rental agreement to finalize your reservation that must be signed within 48 hours.
• CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4:00 PM CST and CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 AM CST.
• Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be in your arrival instructions at check in time.
• No smoking/vaping/drugs/firearms allowed in our condo or balcony
• Max number of guests includes guests of all ages including infants/children to comply with our vacation rental permit, HOA laws, and local fire code laws. Exceeding the guest count is grounds for immediate eviction with no refund.
• Parking for up to 2 cars in the open lot

"We had stayed at the Venus before , but not in this unit. The whole place has been updated. It felt like a familiar friend but still looked new and shiny after the refits. We were just a short walk to the beach where we spent a lot of time! We will be back!"

"Me & my family loved the area, it was like a 3 min walk to the beach right out the back door, the pool was amazing, heated! The ppl at the complex was very nice everyone talked to you, the people doing the construction work always cared for my car covered it with a car cover to make sure no dust got on it.. I would recommend anyone to stay here, and I definitely will be back.."

"What a great condo! Quiet and off the beaten path but still close enough to pop into town for a quick coffee or grocery run. Beach access was easy and close and, like all of Okaloosa Island, just absolutely gorgeous white beaches. The unit was exactly as described and incredibly clean. It really did feel like a home away from home. I will definitely get this condo again the next time I travel to Fort Walton Beach."

"This is a cute, clean, updated decor, well kept condo. Perfect size for a family of 4. I did wish there was a place to leave sandy items and wet clothes. You can leave them on the back porch, but since it is ground level, we worried about our suits and items would get taken while we weren't outside. You can get to the pool out of your back door. Parking is steps from the front door. The beach is beautiful and a very short distance and walk. There are hoses and a shower to spray off sand near the pool. The community laundryroom is very nice and close. (Bring quarters for laundryroom) Easy drive to anything you want to do. I felt very safe in this area too. Upon arrival we noticed an issue with the toilet, I contacted them about it and they offered to send someone out. We didn't want to wait on someone to fix it while we were on vacation and it worked, it just had issues. Kristine said she would have it fixed once we left. She was very prompt and friendly when responding."

"From the beginning the communication was excellent and very detailed instructions. The condo is a nice little place that is just a stone’s throw away from the beach. The walk to the beach is very short and the location did not disappoint. Mainly a family environment on this side of the island. The grounds are clean and the pool is also a nice touch. The apartment is self was as pictures and was very clean. Will really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this AirBnB to friends."
